Step 7
Now for the fun part! Select your picture to go in the top left cutout. Copy
your picture and paste as new layer into your frame image. The picture will probably
cover the whole image!
Go to your Layer Palette and move this layer beneath the Frame Layer. Rename this
layer "Picture 1"
Go to Image/Resize and use these settings as a guide:
You may need to resize again depending on your picture.
Position the part of the picture that you want to show in the cutout. Don't worry
about the parts of the picture that are showing outside of the cutout! We are going
to deal with that next.
Once you are happy with the position of the picture select your eraser tool with these
settings:
Erase the excess parts of the picture including those that
are showing outside of the frame
If you haven't been saving your work up to now ...
it is definitely a good time to save at this point!
Step 8
Repeat Step 7 for the remainder of the cutouts, naming
each layer with the relevant picture number. Remember when erasing the parts of the
picture you don't want, make sure you are on the correct layer otherwise you will erase
the wrong picture.
Step 9
Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
Step 10
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Title"
Give your Picture Frame a title and add some tubes to finish it off.
Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.
Step 11
Select your Magic Wand and click anywhere on the transparent area
Go to Selections/Invert
Go to Image/Crop to Selection and the Multi Frame is now complete!
Try using different backgrounds for the Inner Frame to give it your own imprint!
I have used Desdemona Font which I have enclosed in the Accessories Zip File and
one of my own tubes of a palm tree also enclosed in the Accessories Zip File.
The pictures in my frame are all taken by my husband. If you would like to use these
pictures, please email me and I will send them to you.
