You will need
JASC's PSP7 - Get it here Multi Frame Selections. Unzip the
file and place in your PSP Selections Folder. If you do
not have a Selections Folder, make one now. Multi Frame Accessories. Unzip the
tube into your Paint Shop Pro Tube folder. Unzip the font into your fonts folder and put
the Norwegianwood into a folder of your choice
To keep the loading time down, I have tried to keep the
screen captures to a minimum so when the same effect is used more than once, I have just
made a reference to it!
Remember to save your work often!!!
Step 1
Open a New Image 500x400 16 Million Colours Transparent
Set your foreground colour to #F6E6CD
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Inner Frame"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hhinnerframe.sel"
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Texture Effects/Weave and apply these settings:
Go to Selections/Float
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Cutout and apply these settings:
Reapply the cutout changing the Vertical and Horizontal to
-2
Deselect
Step 2
Open the norwegianwood pattern that you unzipped to a folder of your choice
Set your foreground colour to the norwegianwood pattern with these settings:
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Outer
Frame"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hhouterframe.sel"
Floodfill
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply these settings:
Deselect
Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
Step 3
Select your magic wand with these settings:
Click in one of the cutouts of the inner frame. Hold
down the Shift Key and select all the other cutouts. You should now have all the
cutouts selected.
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Cut Out and apply the same settings as in Step 1
Reapply the cutout changing the Vertical and Horizontal to -2
Deselect
Step 4
Make sure the foreground colour is still set with the norwegianwood pattern
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Inner Frame Trim"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hhinnerframetrim.sel"
Floodfill
Deselect
Step 5
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Frame Trim"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hhframetrim.sel"
Floodfill
Deselect
Step 6
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Frame Access"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hhframeaccess.sel"
Floodfill.
Deselect
Step 7
Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
Go to your Layer Palette and right click on the merged layer and rename this
"Frame"
