You will need
JASC's PSP7 or 8 - Get it here
Mouse Selections.  Unzip the file and place in your PSP Selections Folder. 
If you do not have a Selections Folder, make one now. Use for PSP 7
mouse.pspimage file Use for PSP 8
Mouse Accessories.  Unzip to a folder of your choice.

PLEASE NOTE where instructions differ for PSP8, these will be shown in blue
otherwise follow the regular instructions

To keep the loading time down, I have tried to keep the screen captures to a minimum so when the same effect is used more than once, I have just made a reference to it!

Remember to save your work often!!!

Step 1
Open a New Image 300x300 16 Million Colours Transparent
Open the mouse.pspimage file. Shift D to duplicate and then close the original
Set your foreground  to colour #000000
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Bottom"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh01bottom.sel"
Click on the Bottom Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh01bottom

Floodfill
Deselect

Step 2
Open the "Grey Pattern" that you downloaded to a folder of your choice
Set your foreground pattern to "greypattern" Scale 100 Angle 0
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Bottom Trim"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh02bottomtrim.sel"
Click on the Bottom Trim Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh02bottomtrim

Floodfill
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the Metallic Preset supplied
with PSP
Deselect

Step 3
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Top"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh03top.sel"
Click on the Top Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh03top

Floodfill
Go to Selections/Float
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Cut Out and apply these settings:

Deselect

Step 4
Set your foreground colour to #000000
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Trim"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh04trim.sel"
Click on the Trim Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh04trim

Floodfill
Deselect

Step 5
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Trim 1"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh05trim1.sel"
Click on the Trim1 Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh05trim1

Floodfill
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply these settings:



Deselect

Step 6
Set your foreground pattern to "greypattern" Scale 100 Angle 0
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Wheel"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh06wheel.sel"
Click on the Wheel Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh06wheel

Floodfill
Go to Effects/Texture Effects/Blinds and apply these settings:

Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply these settings:

Deselect

Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
If you would like to add a wire make sure you add a layer under the Mouse
layer


Save as a tube or psp image for later use.
