Open a New Image 100x200 16 Million Colours Transparent
Open the joinfill pattern that you unzipped to a folder of your choice
Set your foreground to pattern and select the joinfill pattern with these settings:
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Join"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hhjoin.sel" Click on the Join Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hhjoin
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Texture Effects/Blinds and apply these settings:
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply these
settings:
Deselect
Resize the image by going to Image/Resize using these
settings:
Save your image as "join". Minimize the image for
later use
Step 9
Open a New Image 500x400 16 Million Colours Transparent
Open up the Frame 1 image. Copy Frame 1. Make sure the new image is the
current image and paste Frame 1 as a new layer. Rename this layer "Frame
1"
Open up the Frame 2 image. Copy Frame 2. Make sure the new image is the
current image and paste Frame 2 as a new layer. Rename this layer "Frame
2".
Step 10
Go to View/Change Grid Guide and Properties and set your Horizontal and Vertical spacing
to 20. Go to View/Grid and your image will now show the grid.
Position your Frames so that they are lined up with each other at the bottom and the
sides.
Go to View/Grid to remove the grid
Step 11
Go to your Layer Palette and highlite Frame 1
Select the Deformation Tool. Select the top left hand corner, hold down the control
key and move the corner up. You will notice the frame deforming. When you are
satisfied with the position, apply the deformation by double clicking on the image
Step 12
Go to your Layer Palette and highlight Frame 2.
Repeat Step 11 except make sure you move the top right hand corner of the deformation.
Make sure you align the 2 frames.
Step 13
Open up the Join image. Copy Join image. Make sure
the double frames image is the current image and paste the Join image as a new
layer. Rename this layer "Join"
Position the join image inbetween the two frames and move the right hand frame in
slightly.
When you are happy with the position move the "join" layer underneath the
Frame 1 layer. Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
Step 14
You can either add your own background and save the file as a jpeg or if you prefer
Go to Selections/Invert
Got to Image/Crop to Selection
Save the file as a gif
