PSP8, these will be shown in blue
otherwise follow the regular instructions
To keep the loading time down, I have tried to keep the
screen captures to a minimum so when the same effect is used more than once, I have just
made a reference to it!
Remember to save your work often!!!
Step 1
Open a New Image 500x500 16 Million Colours Transparent
Open the
amerirooster.pspimage file. Shift D to duplicate and
then close the original
Set your foreground colour to #2E305E
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Body"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh01body.sel" Click on the Body
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh01body
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply these settings:
Deselect
Step 2 Set your foreground colour to #831717
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Crown"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh02crown.sel" Click on the Crown
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh02crown
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the same settings
as in Step 1 Deselect
Go to Layers/Arrange/Move Down (not necessary for
PSP8)
Step 3 Set your foreground colour to #F1F35D
In your Layer Palette make sure the "body" layer is highlighted
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Beak"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh03beak.sel" Click on the Beak
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh03beak
Floodfill
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the same settings
as in Step 1 Deselect
Step 4
Set your foreground colour to #831717
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Gobble"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh04gobble.sel" Click on the Gobble
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh04gobble
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the same settings
as in Step 1 Deselect
Step 5 Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Stripes"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh05redstripe.sel" Click on the Stripes
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh05redstripe
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the same settings
as in Step 1 On the same layer set your foreground colour to #E9E1E1
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh06whitestripe.sel"
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh06whitestripe
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the same settings
as in Step 1 Deselect
Step 6
Set your foreground to colour #000000
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and
name it "Eye"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh07eye.sel" Click on the Eye
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh07eye
Floodfill
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the
round preset
supplied with PSP
Deselect
Step 7
Set your foreground to colour #E9E1E1
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and
name it "Pole"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh08pole.sel" Click on the Pole
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh08pole
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the same settings
as in Step 1 Deselect Go to Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom
(not necessary for PSP8)
Step 8
Set your foreground to colour #831717
In your Layer Palette highlight Layer 1
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and
name it "Heart"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh09heart.sel" Click on the Heart
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh09heart
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the same settings
as in Step 1
Deselect
In your Layer Palette duplicate this layer and move it up slightly
Duplicate this layer again and move up slightly
Step 9
Set your foreground to colour #E9E1E1
In your Layer Palette highlight the "body" Layer
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and
name it "Stars"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh10stars.sel" Click on the Stars
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh10stars
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the same settings
as in Step 1 Deselect
When everything is how you want it to be go to
Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.
Save as a tube or psp image for later use.
