You will need
JASC's PSP7 and 8 - Get it here Selections.
Unzip the file and
place in your PSP Selections Folder. If you do not have a Selections Folder, make
one now. Use for PSP7
ameriplaque.pspimage Use for PSP8 Accessories.
Unzip
and place in a folder of your choice
PLEASE NOTE where instructions differ for
PSP8, these will be shown in blue
otherwise follow the regular instructions
To keep the loading time down, I have tried to keep the
screen captures to a minimum so when the same effect is used more than once, I have just
made a reference to it!
Remember to save your work often!!!
Step 1
Open a New Image 300x300 16 Million Colours Transparent
Open the
ameriplaque.pspimage file. Shift D to duplicate and
then close the original
Set your foreground colour to #2E305E
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Back"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh01back.sel" Click on the Back
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh01back
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Selections/Float/Effects/3D Effects/Cut Out and apply these
settings:
Deselect
Step 2 Set your background colour to #831717
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Red"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh02red.sel" Click on the Red
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh02red
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Selections/Float/Effects/3D Effects/Cut Out and apply the same
settings as in Step 1
Deselect
Step 3 Set your background colour to #E9E1E1
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Stripes"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh03stripes.sel" Click on the Stripes
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh03stripes
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Selections/Float/Effects/3D Effects/Cut Out and apply the
same settings as in Step 1 Deselect
Step 4
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Star"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh04star.sel" Click on the Star
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh04star
Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Selections/Float/Effects/3D Effects/Cut Out and apply the
same settings as in Step 1 Deselect
Step 5 Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Rope"
Open up the "string" image that you downloaded to
a folder of your choice.
Go to Edit/Copy
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh05string.sel" Click on the Rope
Layer Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection
from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh05string
Go to Edit/Paste/Paste into Selection
Deselect
Go to Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom (not necessary
for PSP8)
When everything is how you want it to be go to
Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.
Save as a tube or psp image for later use.
