You will need
JASC's PSP7 - Get it here
Americlock Selections.  Unzip the file and place in your PSP Selections Folder.  If you do not have a Selections Folder, make one now.Use for PSP7
americlock.pspimage file Use for PSP8

PLEASE NOTE where instructions differ for PSP8, these will be shown in blue
otherwise follow the regular instructions

To keep the loading time down, I have tried to keep the screen captures to a minimum so when the same effect is used more than once, I have just made a reference to it!

Remember to save your work often!!!

Step 1
Open a New Image 400x400 16 Million Colours Transparent
Open the americlock.pspimage file. Shift D to duplicate and then close the original
Set your foreground colour to #2E305E
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Back"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh01back.sel"
Click on the Back Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh01back

Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Selections/Float/Effects/3D Effects/Cut Out and apply these settings:

Repeat the Cut Out changing the Vertical and Horizontal to -3
Deselect

Step 2
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Trim"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh02trim.sel"
Click on the Trim Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh02trim

Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Deselect
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the Frame Bevel supplied
with PSP

Step 3
Set your foreground colour to #E9E1E1
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "stars"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh03stars.sel"
Click on the Stars Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh03stars

Floodfill
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Deselect

Step 4
Set your foreground colour to #831717
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Stripes"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh04redstripes.sel"
Click on the Stripes Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh04redstripes

Floodfill
Deselect
Set your foreground colour to #E9E1E1
Same layer go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh05whitestripes.sel"
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh05whitestripes
Floodfill
Deselect
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply these settings:

Step 5
Set your foreground colour to #2E305E and your background colour to #E9E1E1
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Face"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh06face.sel"
Click on the Face Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh06face

Floodfill with foreground colour
Go to Selections/Modify/Contract by 8 and floodfill with background colour
Deselect
With your magic wand select the blue outer circle
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the same settings as in Step 4
With your magic wand select the white inner circle
Go to Selections/Modify/Expand by 2
Go to Selections/Float/Effects/3D Effects/Cut Out and apply the same
settings as in Step 1
Repeat the Cut Out changing the Vertical and Horizontal to -3
Deselect
Go to Effects/Noise and add 10% uniform

Step 6
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Numbers"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh07numbers.sel"
Click on the Numbers Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh07numbers

Floodfill with #2E305E
Go to Selections/Float/Effects 3D Effects/Cut Out and apply the same
settings as in Step 1 changing the Vertical and Horizontal to 0
Deselect

Step 7
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "Hands"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh08hands.sel"
Click on the Hands Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh08hands

Floodfill
Go to Selections/Float/Effects 3D Effects/Cut Out and apply the same
settings as in Step 6 changing the Vertical and Horizontal to 0
Deselect

Step 8
Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "String"
Go to Selections/Load from Disc and choose "hh09string.sel"
Click on the String Layer
Go to Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Use the drop down arrow and select hh09string

Floodfill with #2E305E
Deselect
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the same settings as in Step 4
Go to Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom

 

When everything is how you want it to be go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.
Save as a tube or psp image for later use.
